Tops in their class, they’re now freshmen here

More on UW-Green Bay enrollment: Admissions Adviser Andrew Meyer did a review of some (not necessarily all) student transcripts recently and found that we’ve got the top graduating senior from at least 14 Wisconsin high schools: Brillion, Cochrane-Fountain City, Coleman, De Pere, Eau Claire North, Laconia, Menomonie, Menominee Indian, Onalaska, Random Lake, River Falls, Sheboygan Falls, Thorp and Wausau West. We also have Coleman’s and Howards Grove’s Nos. 2 and 3 and plenty more “top-ten’ers” from around the state including Bonduel and Drummond (No. 2), Wonewoc (Nos. 2, 5, 6), Gillett (No. 3, 4), Oostburg (No. 3, 5, 6) and Wrightstown (No. 3, 9). There are likely others out there, Meyer says. Admissions does not use class rank as a search criteria, so the figures are just a snapshot look at the records.
