As protests allow, JFC takes up UW System budget

The chairman of the Legislature’s budget-writing committee says his group will reconvene at 1 p.m. today (Friday, June 3) to continue work on the state budget. The Joint Finance Committee is scheduled to take up portions of the document dealing with the UW System, courts and building improvements. If time permits, that is.
