Slideshow: Excellence on exhibit at student symposium

The 10th annual Academic Excellence Symposium attracted hundreds of students, faculty and staff, and community visitors to the Phoenix Room April 19 to view poster displays, art, and musical performances presented by UW-Green Bay students.

This year’s symposium featured 81 students presenting 48 projects; among them was returning adult student Maura Vazquez, who exhibited a trio of oversize acrylic paintings (above). The pieces, from left, are a self-portrait and paintings of her 18-month-old daughter, and 10-year-old daughter.
