Go Green! Phoenix men on four-game win streak

The UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team (10-9) has won four straight and six of its last eight games under first-year head coach Brian Wardle.

Rebounding and defense have been key elements in the winning streak.

The Phoenix whipped UIC 74-50 at the Resch Center last Saturday. They did it by outrebounding their opponent for the seventh straight game and holding the Flames to less than 40 percent shooting.

“The resurgent Phoenix will take its game on the road for games this Friday vs. Butler in Indianapolis, and at Valparaiso, Ind., on Sunday vs. Valpo.
