Photos, video: The Blizzard of '10, and a cool tunnel
It’s a popular campus feature at UW-Green Bay that most of the buildings are connected by “tunnels” (actually an indoor concourse system linking all academic buildings). After a blizzard dumped nearly a foot of snow on campus on Sunday (Dec. 12) some students created their own tunnel.
The walkway between the University Union and the Cofrin Library was blocked by a six foot high snow drift. Some students, no doubt excited to get to their final exams, created a tunnel through the snow. Robert Hornacek put together a short video on the tunnel while a staff member used a snow thrower to create a walking path through the snow.
Below, UW-Green Bay photographer Eric Miller captures some of the fun in photos.
