Media coverage: Afghan filmmaker at UW-Green Bay

Sahraa Karimi, a filmmaker from Afghanistan, was interviewed by Fox 11 Monday night at the screening of her film, Afghan Women Behind the Wheel. Karimi spoke about the advances for women in the last 10 years in her native country. But she says more needs to be done. UW-Green Bay Prof. David Coury (Humanistic Studies) also shared his thoughts on the film. Karimi will also show her film on campus today (Tuesday) at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the Christie Theatre, and at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay on Wednesday night.
