Book discussion next Tuesday
On Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m., the Humanistic Studies academic unit is hosting another Great Books Discussion at the Central Branch of the Brown County Library. The group will analyze Eduardo Galeano’s 1971 classic Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent. The book gained some notoriety last year when Hugo Chávez gave a copy to President Obama at the 5th Summit of the Americas. Prof. Gabriel Saxton-Ruiz will be leading the discussion.
