Teen Connection looks at race-based mascots
The next edition of the Wisconsin Public Television program “Teen Connection” will focus on the issue of race-based nicknames, logos and mascots in Wisconsin schools. The show airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 5). Among those featured will be activist and educator Richie Plass, who has lectured on the topic at UW-Green Bay. The show originates from studios on the UW-Green Bay campus.
