UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance students take the helm as writers, directors, designers, and performers in this student-led production of new works and old favorites. A must-see event, the collage of work exemplifies the creativity, ingenuity, and skill of UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance students. This show is for mature audiences, ages 13+. Unsilent Night is an original composition by Phil Kline, written specifically to be heard outdoors in December. It is a street promenade in which the audience becomes the performer. Each participant gets one of four music tracks in the app. Together, all four tracks comprise Unsilent Night. The fact that the participants play different “parts” simultaneously helps create the unique sound of the piece. Participants carry boomboxes, or anything that amplifies music, and simultaneously start playing the music. They then walk a carefully chosen route through their city’s streets, creating a unique mobile sound sculpture that differs from every listener’s perspective.
