Phoenix pride, and high praise from Cyclones coach

The UW-Green Bay women’s basketball squad was ousted Tuesday from the second round of the NCAA tournament by host Iowa State, 60-56. But the Phoenix, who led most of the game, left a strong impression upon their opponents. “That was one of the best teams we’ve ever faced in this building,” ISU coach Bill Fennelly told the Ames Tribune about the Phoenix.
