High school students take on role as world leaders

We’re hearing much lately about summits — global, national and local. High school students from around the area took part Tuesday in an annual world nuclear summit simulation in De Pere. A number of students who have taken part in that popular high school activity have gone on to study at UW-Green Bay. Here, many of those same students participate in the simulated global summit addressing environmental sustainability, according to assistant professors Katia Levintova and Sara Rinfret, both of Public and Environmental Affairs.
