Blue Hawaiian Helicopters gets “Fortune” shout-out

An observant “Wheel of Fortune” fan noticed a shout-out last week to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, the tour business owned by UW-Green Bay alumni Dave and Patti Chevalier. “Wheel of Fortune” is just one of many big-name entertainment franchises that use Blue Hawaiian’s services. TV commercials, MTV, the Dating Game, The Food Channel, The Weather Channel and National Geographic populate the list, and movie credits include Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” and its sequel, “The Lost World,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End” with Johnny Depp. In the movie “The Big Bounce,” Blue Hawaiian CEO Dave Chevalier is the helicopter pilot for real estate developer Ray Ritchie.
