Library luncheon lauds best-in-state award, dedicated staff

From the moment UW-Green Bay’s Cofrin Library was named Library of the Year this fall, director Paula Ganyard has credited her staff — full- and part-time, students and non. So it was little surprise that those staff members were the focus of a Nov. 30 luncheon designed to recognize the library’s best-in-state accolade.

Three dozen Green Bay West High School students visited UW-Green Bay Dec. 3, part of a Phuture Phoenix program designed to help boost participation in — and scores on — the ACT college entrance exam. The students spent the morning touring campus and learning about everything from academics and admissions to student services and financial aid.
