The desire to help and motivate kids who struggle is a theme that has resonated throughout Ginny Riopelle’s life’s work, from her early years as a primary school teacher to her extensive community involvement and eventual co-founding of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s signature Phuture Phoenix program. It remains a constant today as Riopelle continues her tireless work on behalf of community and University.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Lawton Gallery will present Chromatopia, featuring new works by artist Michael Velliquette, Sept. 15-Oct. 6. The show will be introduced with an opening reception from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, which will include a 5 p.m. artist’s talk.
