Giving back: Peace Crane project inspires cancer survivors
When the cancer center at St. Vincent Hospital hosted its annual Cancer Survivors’ Dinner in June, a “Peace Crane” sculpture created by arts management students at UW-Green Bay was a centerpiece.
Still time to register for UW-Green Bay’s Total Guitarist Summer Camp
Budding guitarists entering grades 8 through 12 will explore such musical styles as rock, jazz, classical and Latin at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Total Guitarist Camp July 31 – Aug. 4 on campus, 2420 Nicolet Drive. Registrations still are being accepted for the camp, which targets students of bass, acoustic and electric guitar who have at least one year of playing experience.
Registration continues for UW-Green Bay High School Music Camp
Registration remains open for the High School Band, Orchestra and Choral Camp, to be held July 24-29 at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, 2420 Nicolet Drive. The camp is open to students entering grades 9 through 12 in fall 2011.
