It has been an up-and-down season thus far, results-wise, for the UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team (6-9) under first-year head coach Brian Wardle. Emerging as constants for the program, however, and offering hope for the future, have been qualities including effort, determination and aggressive play.
Today it’s promoting a March run of Broadway’s Riverdance, tomorrow it might be scheduling one of the many education series that brings 20,000 school-aged children, annually, to the Weidner Center. It’s all in a day’s work for Katie Green, president of Weidner Center Presents, Inc.
UW-Green Bay junior Mike Groe is a YouTube sensation. Groe’s speed painting video had more than 325,000 views entering the new year, and the count continues to grow.
