Student Rush pricing will be available for “Camelot,” the classic Broadway musical scheduled to play the Weidner Center at 7:30 p.m. this Friday (Oct. 17). Tickets will be 50 percent off, plus fees, available starting 90 minutes prior to curtain time with student ID at the Weidner Center Ticket Office.
Standup star Brian Regan is playing the Weidner Center this Thursday evening (Sept. 25), and there’s good news for UW-Green Bay in the form of student rush tickets. Any available tickets 90 minutes prior to the 7:30 p.m. curtain will be offered to students with IDs at $10 per ticket plus fees. Limit one per student. Capped at 200 total.
Discounted student tickets are available for the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra’s concert, “Mendelssohn’s Scottish,” this Saturday, Feb. 2. Tickets are $10 (plus applicable fees) and can be purchased in person at the Ticket Star outlet at the University Ticketing & Information Center (in the University Union) or at the Resch Center Box Office. Valid UW-Green Bay ID required at time of purchase. Tickets can also be purchased 90 minutes before the concert at the Weidner Center Box Office.
Student Rush tickets will be available for ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ improv stars Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood tonight (Friday, Jan. 25), beginning 90 minutes prior to show at the Weidner Center ticket office. Their show, “Two Man Group” is described as being “live and dangerous,” and plays at 8 p.m. at the Weidner Center. Student Rush tickets are $10 plus fees; two tickets allowed per valid student ID. The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts reports seats still available for either of two performances this Saturday (Nov. 17) of a touring production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” Show times are 3 and 8 p.m., with ticket prices ranging from the high $20s to the low $70s, with student rush tickets also available. Tickets are $10 plus fees for students,with a maximum of two tickets per valid student ID. Tickets must be purchased in person at UTIC, or at the Weidner Center box office (which is open 90 minutes prior to the show).
Fans of the Bard are well aware that the highly regarded Aquila Theatre Company is coming to the Weidner Center on Monday (Oct. 22) for a 7:30 p.m. mainstage performance of “The Taming of the Shrew.” They might also have seen the LA Times review: “The Aquila Theatre brings intelligence and laser-sharp line readings to this eminently enjoyable modern-dress take on Shakespeare’s comedy.” New today, however, is the good news of $10 Student Rush tickets now available.
