The UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and its director, Ryan Kauth, will be part of “Connect! Local Information for Starting and Growing Businesses,” hosted by Advance, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 25 at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County.
The event runs from 1-4 p.m. and will include roundtable discussions, exhibiting and networking. The SBDC helped plan the event, and Kauth will be part of a roundtable, titled “Preparing Your Credit to Receive Financing,” from 2:15 to 3 p.m. His fellow panelists will be Fred Monique of the Advance Business & Manufacturing Center and Michael Brown from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
The event also will include a 1:15 p.m. roundtable discussion, titled “Permits, Operations and Expansions,” featuring representatives from the city of Green Bay Economic Development Department, the Brown County Health Department and Advance Microloan program, along with two local business owners. Connect! will conclude with an exhibitors and networking session, including free refreshments, from 3-4 p.m. This session will offer attendees a chance to discuss topics with representatives from 21 fields including business mentoring, law, real estate, marketing, licensing, technical support and finance.
