Weather s'no problem

Thomas Harden saw the snow when he was on campus for two days of interviews. He battled through a snowstorm last week when he interviewed in Madison with UW System President Kevin P. Reilly and members of the Board of Regents. And he knew more snow was falling in Green Bay today. Still, he wants the job, even if it means leaving home in a sunny and warm Georgia. “If location or weather had made any difference, we wouldn’t have even come up in the first place. That hasn’t dissuaded us,” he said, noting he has worked in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio, where snow also falls. “But I will probably miss those 50-degree afternoons in January.”
