Alumna wig story has legs

Up in rotation on the main UW-Green Bay website this week is a feature story about Theatre grad turned entrepreneur Stacey Nellen-Kolze ’98 and her thriving wig/boutique business. The University’s SBDC helped counsel and promote that growth. It’s an interesting story, at least partly because of the SBDC angle and also because one of Nellen-Kolze’s niches is serving clients with hair loss related to cancer treatment and other medical issues. We have since learned that the story has been picked up by the state of Wisconsin SBA Office, and is being used as a success-story testimonial by SBA, and will soon go live on UW System’s “Knowledge Powers Wisconsin” website.
