The peripatetic and progressive professor Harvey Kaye is heading to New York again, this time for the Roosevelt Reading Festival on Saturday (June 21) at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. Kaye, of Democracy and Justice Studies, is one of 12 authors of recently published works that draw upon the Roosevelt Library archives who will present talks followed by book signings. If you’re in the neighborhood, Kaye’s session is at 1 p.m. EDT in Reading Room A of the library’s Henry A. Wallace Center. He will, of course, present on his new Simon and Schuster book, The Fight for the Four Freedoms: What Made FDR and the Greatest Generation Truly Great. See details on the festival.
