Account set up at Credit Union to assist Perkins family

Tag icon ,

Friends of Steve Perkins, the University’s curator of art, have set up a temporary account with the UW Credit Union on campus for those who would like to assist their efforts to aid the family. Perkins’ spouse, Arda Ishkhanian, was killed in an auto accident late last week in Cairo, Egypt. She was a popular, longtime painting instructor for UW-Green Bay Outreach and the Summer Art Studio camps program, and known to many in the local arts community. Organizers of the fund say they are hoping to defray some of the travel expenses and otherwise assist Perkins and the couple’s daughter. Any member of the UW-Green Bay community with questions about how to contribute to the fund may contact Pam Johnson, academic department associate in Humanistic Studies, at ext. 2348 or johnsopa@uwgb.edu.
