Women’s road to NCAA tourney opens tonight at Kress

It’s tournament time for the top-seeded Green Bay women’s basketball team, with a Horizon League quarterfinal today (Wednesday, March 12 at the Kress Center, welcoming No. 9 Valparaiso for a 7 p.m. tip. The Phoenix handled the Crusaders at home, 70-42, in February, but faced a much tougher task, 53-49, at Valpo ten days ago.
