NAS series continues Sept. 21, featuring Iowa State professor

The popular Natural and Applied Sciences Seminar series continues Friday, Sept. 21, with an address from Prof. Brian Wilsey of Iowa State University. Wilsey, of the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology, will speak on “Biodiversity and ecosystem functions differences between native and novel exotic dominated ecosystems: Are we entering the anthropocene epoch?” Social begins at 3 p.m. in ES 317, with the presentation to follow from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in ES 328. The series is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Office of Grants and Research and the NAS Heirloom Plant Sale Fund.
