03/07/2018 - Stacie Christian comments on De Pere being sued over new ordinance

UW-Green Bay Pride Center Director Stacie Christian was featured on WPR about the City of De Pere being sued over their new Anti-Discrimination Ordinance. Christian stressed that the ordinance would not impinge on religious freedoms, stating, “when you’re a church you’re allowed to be who you are.”

03/07/2018 - Phoenix women capture Horizon League title, NCAA Tournament berth

The 22nd-ranked Green Bay women’s basketball team captured yet another Horizon League Tournament Championship on Tuesday afternoon with a 62-44 victory over Wright State at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The Green Bay Press-Gazette and WTMJ both have the story.

03/07/2018 - UW-Green Bay’s NAS progam and Center for Biodiversity receive Watershed Hero Award

Accepting the 2018 Watershed Hero Impact award for UW-Green Bay was Kevin Fermanich, along with high school partners Lynn Terrien, Green Bay Southwest; Charlie Frisk, Luxemburg-Casco (retired) and Ryan Marx, Appleton East.

The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance named the Lower Fox River Watershed Alliance program a 2018 Watershed Hero Impact Awardee.
