Busy student Sam Hunt also pitches his food business

Sam Hunt’s The Local Food Experiment LLC made it to the finals of the Wisconsin Force For Positive Change Competition, held recently at Marquette University. More than 150 social enterprises entered, 32 made it to through three rounds of judging to the finals (across six categories), and 10 were awarded prizes of $12,500. While Sam didn’t take away first place awards in his category of food and agriculture, he did win a $1,000 award for a student-run social enterprise. See more.
