Free Broadband/WiFi and software resources for students
Several major corporations recognize the impact that COVID-19 is having on students, and are providing free access to their resources for a period of time. We realize that some of you may already be aware of them, but for those that are not we want to make sure to get you this information, as we become aware of these resources we will communicate them to you. We will also post this online on our Coronavirus website.

Adobe is offering free at home use for their Adobe Creative Suite for Students – Adobe is providing this free service to universities who have their product installed in computer labs. UW-Green Bay IT has already filled a request to be able to offer this to our students. As soon as we hear back from Adobe we will give the access to this software to all of you.
While there will be several reputable companies offering their services during this time, it will also be a time for those not so reputable people who will try to take advantage of you. We highly recommend that you remain vigilant about what you download, email attachments you open from unknown senders, and of course to never give out your personal account information.
As we learn about other technology resources that are being made available to you from UW-Green Bay or other companies we will pass them along to you.
