Vespia, Zhu, Cupit, Deetz earn Teacher Enhancement Grants

As part of the faculty development program at UW-Green Bay, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and the Instructional Development Council have set aside grant funds to provide monetary support for professional development activities or projects that can lead to the improvement of teaching skills or the development of innovative teaching strategies.

The winners of the spring 2013 grants are:
• Prof. Kris Vespia, Human Development, to attend the Midwestern Physiological Associations annual meeting “Enhancing Teaching and Advising in Psychology”
• Prof. Le Zhu, Human Biology, to attend the Institute of Food Technologists Annual Meeting and Food Expo
• Prof. Illene Cupit, Human Development, to attend the ADEC Annual Conference: “Teaching that matters: training the next generation of grief professionals”
• Prof. Kristy Deetz, Art and Design, to receive instruction on Illustrator
