SBDC offers program for search engine optimization

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering a workshop for small-business people interested in maximizing their website hits to advance their businesses.

The workshop, “Efficient and Effective Search Engine Optimization for Business Owners” will run from 1 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Small Business Development Center, 2701 Larsen Road, Green Bay.

Instructor Stephen Woessner will teach participants how to select keywords that are proven performers, blend the keywords into site content, boost site popularity, and more.  Participants will get a copy of Woessner’s book, The Small Business Owner Handbook to Search Engine Optimization: Increase Your Google Rankings, Double Your Site Traffic…In Just 15 Steps.

The fee for the workshop is $79 or $64 per person when two people from the same organization attend.
