Leadership program for managers and supervisors

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Small Business Development Center is accepting registrations for fall 2011 courses in the Supervisory Leadership Certificate Series.

The series begins with Supervisory Leadership I, one of the core sessions in the program. The two-day session is offered Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 5 and 6, at the Business Assistance Center, 2701 Larsen Road, Green Bay. Limited seats remain.  Supervisory Leadership II and additional electives are offered monthly through the semester.

The series is designed to help supervisors increase production and provide greater employee satisfaction, resulting in fewer employee problems and reduce turnover.  Participants have up to three years to complete the continuing education series, consisting of two required courses and four electives.

Participants can also register for courses without completing certificate requirements.  For complete details on the certificate series or individual programs, please call the SBDC at (920) 496-2114 or visit their web site at www.uwgb.edu/sbdc.
