Green Bay, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan Fine Arts Gallery invites the community to visit the campus for the latest Fine Arts Gallery art exhibition, “Artwork by Kimberly Nysee.” A special artist reception is planned for Friday, August 10, 2018 (note, this is a change from the original posted date), from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. The show runs through August 31.

Kimberly Nysse is a large-scale portrait artist with a background in costume design for the theatre from Viterbo University. She uses bold colors and oversized canvases to evoke strong reaction and deep emotion, usually as self-portraiture. She is currently an Art Studio student at Silver Lake College, and an active member of Sheboygan Visual Artists.

The Fine Arts Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about the show or the Gallery, contact Gallery Director Dan Smith at dan.smith@uwc.edu.
