UWGB Creatives Launch ‘How To’ Series with BFA ’19 Alumna Krynn Hanold
Green Bay, Wis.—On Friday, March 26, 2021, from 4 to 5 p.m., the UWGB Creatives will present “How to Land your Dream Job in Publishing,” featuring alumna Krynn Hanold (Writing and Applied Arts BFA, ’19).
The event kicks off a three-part “How To” series during March and April, 2021. Organized by the English department Creatives intern team, the series offers students a forum to discuss publishing internships, networking, graduate school and job search strategies.
Hanold, the first graduate of UW-Green Bay’s new and exclusive Writing and Applied Arts BFA program, will share her experiences breaking into the world of publishing, which culminated in her current position as publicity assistant for Bloomsbury, USA, the originating of the Harry Potter series. Bloomsbury has offices in London, New York, New Delhi, Oxford and Sidney. Bloomsbury authors have won the Nobel, Pulitzer and Booker prizes.
