Snapshots from May commencement
About 650 students crossed the stage at the Kress Events Center Saturday (May 18) to receive their diplomas at UW-Green Bay’s 44th spring commencement. From cap-and-gown fashions to stage announcer Brian Sutton’s near-perfect, rapid-fire recitation of names — one every seven seconds or so, for a full 90 minutes, keeping the long line moving — to moving messages and stirring achievements, it was a ceremony to remember, in pictures.
