It’s Employee Appreciation Week, May 7-11. A committee worked to put together a week filled with activities (including free food, team building, photos with “the wings” and more…) to help you enjoy the final week before Commencement. Here’s the lineup:

Monday, May 7
Guided Arboretum Tour Noon to 12:30 p.m., led by Bobbie Webster, UWGB Natural Areas Ecologist. Meet at the Kiosk just south of MAC Hall

Tuesday, May 8
-Hitch a Ride! 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., Golf cart rides driven by leadership team from all parking lots to buildings
-Pickleball, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Student Services Plaza, led by Sue Bodilly, come check out what is now the fastest growing sport in the world.

Wednesday, May 9
-I’m a Phoenix Photo 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., First floor concourse between Student Services and Cofrin Library by the Wings
-Faculty and Staff Cookout 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dick Bennett Gym at the Kress Events Center
-Free Popcorn All Day, Garden Café, sponsored by Chartwells

Thursday, May 10

Team Building Activities, 11:45 am to 1:15 pm Student Services Plaza
-Tricycle Races starting at 11:45 am
-Yoga starting at 12:45 pm
-Games throughout
-Get the Scoop, 11:45 am to 1:15 p.m. (or while supplies last), Student Services Plaza, Sponsored by Chartwells
-After Hours Happy Hour 4:30 to 6 p.m., Shorewood Golf Course. Cash bar with drink specials and snacks will be available. Employees participating in this event must comply with all work place conduct rules.
