President Cross Column: UW System Prepares Young Professionals in Green Bay
University of Wisconsin System President Ray Cross wrote a column in celebration of Young Professionals Week. He highlighted UW-Green Bay juniors David Propson and Miranda Dreckschmidt about their experience with Bellin Health:
“UW-Green Bay Human Biology majors Miranda Dreckschmidt and David Propson are preparing to enter the workforce as young professionals with experience gained through a partnership with Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Green Bay. The students operate the technology for the Bellin physical therapists who are conducting performance assessments on their patients as they prepare to become physical therapists themselves after graduation.
About eighty-five percent of UW System students stay in Wisconsin after graduation, raising their families and keeping Wisconsin a great place to live and work. We will continue to focus on a quality education, and we are proud UW-related internships create a meaningful job experience for many young professionals across our state.”
