SBDC at UW-Green Bay receives statewide award for service excellence
The Small Business Center at UW-Green Bay has earned a statewide award from the Wisconsin District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBDC is one of five small businesses and seven individuals and organizations being recognized this year for supporting entrepreneurial success. The center earned the Service Excellence award, and was praised for exceeding goals for the number of long-term clients, new business starts and customer satisfaction. The award announcement spotlights SBDC Director Ryan Kauth, who was quick to point out that the recognition is for the organization as a whole. He praised the efforts of Program Manager Diane Welhouse and Business Counseling Manager Chuck Brys, as well as numerous partners and those who have supported the center’s efforts. Kauth also dedicated the award to the late state director of the Wisconsin SBDC, Jim Mishefske, who passed away unexpectedly Thursday (April 3). Our news release has additional details.
