Students in Prof. Weinschenk’s get chance to talk to former U.S. Senator Tim Wirth 

Students in Prof. Aaron Weinschenk’s congressional politics class had a unique opportunity on April 6, 2022. During the class, former U.S. Senator Tim Wirth (Colorado) joined the class via Zoom to chat with students and answer questions. Senator Wirth served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1975-1987 and in the U.S. Senate from 1987-1993. He also served at the national co-chair of the Clinton-Gore campaign, in the U.S. Department of State from as the first Undersecretary for Global Affairs, and as the inaugural President of the UN Foundation (UNF) from 1998 to January 2013 (he still sits on the Foundation’s board).
