Nursing instructors train on the new hi-tech human patient simulator inside the Aurora BayCare Nursing Skills Center on the UW-Green Bay Campus. These manikins offer nursing students with realistic patient healthcare scenarios for critical thinking and clinical skills training. UW-Green Bay's partnership with Aurora BayCare ensures our nursing students are prepared to deliver high-quality, safe patient care as they prepare for their clinical courses.

Thanks to support from community members and organizations, more scholarships are available to pre-nursing (freshmen) and nursing majors. New support from Aurora BayCare Medical Center, will award 10 students scholarships of $2,500 to $5,000. These scholarships will be renewable for recipients who continue in the traditional BSN program, increasing to $6,000 annually subsequent years.

Aurora BayCare is proud to provide this support as encouragement for individuals to pursue nursing as a profession and persist throughout their education. Scholarship recipients will be offered the opportunity to tour Aurora BayCare facilities, engage with staff in mentor relationships and learn more about career paths in nursing. The UW-Green Bay scholarship portal is open now — apply online.

Students can log in with their UW-Green Bay username and password and complete the General Application. Apply by April 1, 2022. Current UW-Green Bay freshmen applying for admission to the tradition BSN program can apply for scholarships through June 30.

Aurora BayCare Inspire Nursing Scholarships (for incoming freshmen) and Future Nurses Scholarships (for sophomores, juniors, seniors) will grow during the next three years to provide scholarships to more than 30 pre-nursing and nursing majors annually.
