Face-covering order will expire beginning Feb. 28—masks can be requested, not required
While the Chancellor’s Mask order expires Feb. 28, 2022, there may be faculty, staff and students who are more comfortable wearing a mask. Please respect their decision. In a memo to campus, Chancellor Alexander asked that all “have compassion with each other and if someone asked you to wear a mask in their presence, to do your best to honor their wishes.” Faculty and staff are welcome to download the available sign and post in offices and work spaces.
Clinical areas like The Wellness Center will continue to require face-coverings.
In the meantime, please remember that respiratory illnesses, including colds, flu and COVID-19, spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets in the air. Continue to stay at home and make other arrangements if you are sick.
