Light Up the Lakeshore for high school students is announced
The UW-Green Bay Manitowoc Campus, through the Cofrin School of Business, is a lead sponsor of the first annual Light Up the Lakeshore High School Student Business Idea Competition in Manitowoc County. The competition is open to all Manitowoc County high school students with a special focus on juniors and seniors. Manitowoc County high school students can register their idea by March 8 at http://bit.ly/lutl2019.
The current prize package is $15,000. The winner of each high school’s competition will receive $100 from UW-Green Bay along with other cash prizes and in-kind donations to help them grow their business. Competitions at Lincoln High School and Two Rivers High School have been set for 6 p.m. on March 19 and April 17, respectively. The county finals will culminate the countywide competition with finalists from each high school’s competition. The county finals will take place at the UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus’s theatre on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
