Faculty note: Holzem and Katers publications

Eric Short ’17 (Environmental Engineering Technology), along with Ryan Holzem, Ph.D. former faculty member in engineering technology at UW-Green Bay, had an article published as part of the World Environmental and Water Resources Congress 2018 through the American Society of Civil Engineers.  The article is entitled “Evaluating the Potential of Using Portable Probes for the Rapid Evaluation of Wastewater Treatment Biological Nitrification.” Holzem and John Katers, dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, also have a full-length manuscript accepted for publication in Applied Engineering in Agriculture. The title of this article is “Life-Cycle Analysis of Advanced Manure Management Systems for a Wisconsin Confined Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO)”.
