Faculty note: Book reception hosted for Prof. Shelton’s new book

On Tuesday, June 27, The Albert Shanker Institute in Washington, D.C., held a book reception and discussion of UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Jon Shelton’s (Democracy and Justice Studies) new book “Teacher Strike! Public Education and the Making of a New American Political Order”. Responding to the book were Georgetown Professor and Director of the Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor and Washington Teacher’s Union President Elizabeth Davis.
