Faculty note: Shelton opens Wisconsin Labor History Society conference

UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Jon Shelton (Democracy and Justice Studies, History) gave introductory remarks on the history of the labor movement in Wisconsin for the 36th annual conference of the Wisconsin Labor History Society on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Madison Labor Temple. Shelton also gave a radio interview on his new book Teacher Strike! Public Education and the Making of a New American Political Order and on labor in Wisconsin for Milwaukee progressive radio station Newstalk 1510, which was broadcasting live from the conference.
