Publication: Carr’s “Communicating Across Disciplines”

Bryan Carr, Assistant Prof. from Communication and Information Science announces the publication of his new textbook, “Communicating Across the Disciplines.” Carr, who developed the textbook (Kendall Hunt Publishing) for his Intro. to Communication course at UWGB, explains: “Since I took over the course I have attempted to redesign it to teach communication principles across a variety of different professional disciplines, with an eye to both giving students a fundamental grounding in the principles of effective communication and preparing them for success in selecting their ideal academic and professional path. This textbook is the ultimate outgrowth of that goal and will help further improve the structure and utility of the course for students.” Contributing were UWGB faculty, Phil Clampitt and Ioana Coman.
