Date announced for 2023 National Conference on Undergraduate Research
This year, in lieu of the annual UW system-wide Symposium on Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity in 2023, the UW-Green Bay Office of Grants and Research is excited to announce that the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) will take place on the UW-Eau Claire campus, April 13-15, 2023.
Students must apply and submit an abstract to participate in this national conference. The deadline to apply to NCUR is Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Those selected to participate should be notified around Jan. 5-10, 2023 and the early bird registration cut off date is January 31.
UW-Green Bay is pleased to announce it will be able provide some limited support for attendance at NCUR events. UW-Green Bay has committed to:
- Cover the cost of early bird registration for up to 60 student/faculty participants ($220 per student and $235 per faculty member)
- Cover the cost of up to 20 quad hotel rooms at the Eau Claire Holiday Inn
- Cover the cost of poster printing
- Provide selected students with a one-time per diem of approximately $125 to help with additional costs not covered by registration fees
Registration and Conference information for NCUR can be found here.
While UW-Green Bay will not be providing transportation for the event, it will be happy to provide a contact list of those participating in the event so participants can arrange transportation on their own.
In order for UW-Green Bay to gauge interest in campus participation for the event and to be eligible to receive support to attend the event, please forward your NCUR abstract/application information to ursca@uwgb.edu once it has been submitted. Additionally, please forward any notification of acceptance to the same email address.
With questions or for more information please email ursca@uwgb.edu.
