As Employee Appreciation Week continues, comes confirmation that a friendly rivalry will be taking place beginning at 12:15 p.m. during Thursday’s Team Building Activities: It will be Chancellor (Miller) vs. Vice-Chancellors (Clif Ganyard and Sheryl VanGruensven) vs. Athletic Director (Gillespie) vs. Provost (Davis) in a battle for campus domination… or at least bragging rights. Come out and cheer on your favorite competitor and get in on the action yourself!

- Casual Dress Day (All Day)
- Team building activities. Fun games planned for the Student Services Plaza
- 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m., across campus
- 12:15 Campus Leadership competition
- There will be Giant Checkers, Jenga, Jump Rope, Skip It and many more games
- Pickleball on the Plaza
- Photos with Phlash
Phoenix Friday, May 6:
Every Friday is Phoenix Friday and Friday, May 6 is the special 50 and Forward Celebration (and fireworks, see below). The Phoenix Bookstore is hosting a sale — 20% off apparel. Also playing at Cheapseats is the action movie “Ride Along 2.” Don’t forget to check out the WSMA Solo & Ensemble Music Festival Friday night from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
