Clarification on Employee Appreciation Week details

Each spring, we set aside time in the form of Employee Appreciation Week to intentionally honor, recognize, and show appreciation for all of the wonderful work performed by faculty and staff across the four UW-Green Bay campuses. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the way we gather as a community, the extraordinary efforts of our faculty and staff community will not go unrecognized this year.

Traditionally at the spring cookout, we celebrate faculty and staff who have retired or who have met years of service milestones. This year that event will look a little different. We will not be having the traditional cookout and lunch. This year’s event will be more of a “walk-thru” style, in-person event similar to the plans for Commencement. We’d like you to schedule your 10-minute time slot to “walk-thru” so we can share our appreciation for all you have done this year. Cookies and water will be served at the event.

If you are an honoree in one or more of the categories, you will receive your awards and have the opportunity to get your picture taken with Chancellor Alexander and/or Interim Provost Burns at the Green Bay events, CEO Cindy Bailey at the Marinette event, or CEO Jamie Schramm at the Sheboygan or Manitowoc events. You will receive an email notification if you are a recipient.
