Join the Educational Resource Symposium, Friday, April 27
Join instructors and staff on Friday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 1965 Room, University Union for a thoughtful discussion on student resources from the perspectives of affordability, technology and more. This discussion will examine Open Educational Resources (OERs) available through libraries, rising costs of textbooks, the workload that surrounds content-development and more. The discussion is co-sponsored by the Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and the Cofrin Library. Renee Ettinger (assistant director, Cofrin Library), Luke Konkol (instructional technologist, Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning), and Mitchell Scott (collection management librarian, St. Norbert College) will facilitate a discussion of how campuses across the U.S. are working to provide affordable course materials to students whether through library resources or open educational resources.
