Faculty note: Associate Prof. Morgan publication

UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. Eric J. Morgan (Democracy and Justice Studies), recently published an article, “Don’t Play Ball with South Africa,” in a special issue on Sport and Protest in The International Journal of the History of Sport, the premier journal for sport history.  Morgan’s article explores the efforts of the American Coordinating Committee for Equality in Sport and Society (ACCESS) and other activists in the United States to force the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to ban South Africa and its athletes from competition in the Davis Cup, examining the role of sport in the struggle against apartheid in the United States at the end of the 1970s.
