UW-Green Bay Music Holds Honors Recital

GREEN BAY – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Music program will hold its annual Honors Recital on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Fort Howard Hall of UW-Green Bay’s Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is free and the recital is open to the public.

Students participating in the Honors Recital were chosen by faculty members during a juried selection process. Of the 10 students selected to participate in this year’s Honor Recital, three are vocalists and seven are instrumentalists. Pieces to be performed are from great composers such as Antonin Dvorak, George Frideric Handel, Frederic Chopin, and many more. Students selected to perform this year are:

  • Madelyn Davies, pianist from Daggett, MI
  • Ayguk Garryyeva, soprano from Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
  • Kameron Jennings, trumpeter from Poynette, WI
  • Megan Jodar, soprano from Luxemburg, WI
  • Cate Kopkey, soprano from Casco, WI
  • Rachel Massey, flutist from De Pere, WI
  • Joshua Paustian, percussionist from De Pere WI
  • Vic Tec Cob, violinist from Green Bay, WI
  • Shoua Xiong, violinist from Sheboygan, WI
  • Danielle Wolf, flutist from Marshfield, WI
